What is the process to get assistance?

1) Call, text or email to find out if we have funding first. The need for assistance has grown tremendously and funding is limited. 

2) Fill out the application completely on the "Need Assistance" Tab.

3) Submit the application, copy of current ID, proof of income and itemized funeral home/crematorium statement via email. Email address giveafuneral@outlook.com.

How do you determine what families get assistance?

We base the approvals on the federal poverty guidelines since there are so many families that need help as of now.

For 2023

Dependents       Annual gross income

0                         under $14,580 

1- 4                     under $30,000

5 - 8                    under $50,560

IN ADDITION TO THESE GUIDELINES ALL PAPERWORK MUST BE SUBMITTED TO BE APPROVED FOR ASSISTANCE.

Do you pay the families directly for funeral expenses?
No, we pay the funeral homes, crematoriums or monument companies.
